How to update the eligible list of insurers for Idaho and Utah when requested.
THIS ARTICLE IS NOT LONGER CORRECT - THE INSURANCE COMPANY LISTS ARE AUTOMATICALLY UPDATED WHEN THE PORTAL IS UPDATED
Idaho and Utah will send periodic requests to update the Eligible List of Insurers that we maintain for them. They will make the changes in the portal themselves, but we update their websites.
You must have admin access to each website in order to make the requested changes. If you do not have access and need it, please contact Covey. Otherwise, Jennifer can make the change.
IDAHO
Idaho has 2 places to update changes to the Eligible List of Insurer:
SLAID Website:
Use the LOGIN TO ADMIN button to access the backend.
Click on Static Pages
Click on Eligible Surplus Lines Insurers
Edit the list in the BODY section of this page - you will need to scroll through the section to find the correct insurance company to remove or change or where to add a new carrier alphabetically. This section is set up as a table, so insert row or delete row works for editing.
Idaho will also request an update to the Quarterly Alien List Link on the website. You will need to:
- Update the name of the link to the correct quarterly report name
- Update the link itself to the correct quarterly report
Make sure to click UPDATE at the bottom of the page when all the changes have been made.
Eligible Insurance Company List
Make the same changes you made to the page above on this google sheet.
UTAH
Utah only has one area to update.
